Our People
We love our employees and know an experienced team is our greatest asset. Therefore we offer many avenues for personal growth and career advancement, including our sophisticated Manager in Training program.
As a company that began as a collection industry, we understand the importance of giving back.
Our Culture
If our team succeeds, the company succeeds. We regularly hold “Town Hall” meetings with Human Resources and Executive Management – asking for employee participation in strategic planning. Because we also care about employee development, regular reviews are conducted to discuss opportunities for improvement and celebrating successes.
Our culture does not stop with our employees. We encourage our teams to invest in our communities by regularly organizing volunteering opportunities.
SUPPORTED CHARITIES INCLUDE
A Kid's Place
Our team collected 1,000 boxes of cereal for foster children who live at A Kid’s Place.
Locateds in Brandon, Fla., A Kid’s Place has five homes on a five-acre, tree-lined campus that provide a safe, home-like environment in a neighborhood setting. Our residential program services children from birth to age 18 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
Adopt-A-Highway
Every year, millions of visitors get their first glimpse of our home state from their car windows as they travel along Florida’s highways. First impressions can be long lasting. Hunter Warfield chose to adopt a 2-mile stretch of highway in the Tampa Bay area where our employees and their families regularly volunteer to keep it clean. Our regular involvement in this program eases the load of FDOT work crews, enabling them to devote more time to other road maintenance and special highway projects.
American Cancer Society
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation. Hunter Warfield has raised more than $8,000 of critical funds through various fundraising initiatives that enable the American Cancer Society to fund innovative research; provide free information and support to anyone touched by breast cancer; and help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable. Hunter Warfield is proud to have been recognized as the 5th largest corporate fundraising sponsor in Hillsborough County to help this worthy cause.
Be A Santa To A Senior
Hunter Warfield partnered with Home Instead Senior Care, which identifies seniors who might not otherwise receive gifts during the holiday season. Hunter Warfield is proud to have volunteered time and donated towards the more than 1.2 million gifts provided to deserving seniors.
CASA
Community Action Stops Abuse, CASA, #NoMoreWee k is a nationally recognized event that brings attention to domestic violence and ways that we can all help bring it to an end. Hunter Warfield focuses our efforts on collections for CASA, a local shelter that provides lifesaving services to men, women, and children living with domestic violence. Our collections have focused on their most desperately needed items – specifically soup, which is an item they run out of daily.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County builds and renovates homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent affordable housing. Hunter Warfield is pleased to have rolled up our sleeves and work alongside a Hillsborough County school teacher who was making her dream of having a home a reality for her and her children.
Hillsborough Education Foundation
Hunter Warfield partnered with the Hillsborough Education Foundation in support of Hillsborough County Public Schools and the academic achievement of all of its students. Our collection of supplies helped to support 140 Title 1 schools in Hillsborough County, impacting more than 65,000 students.
Homeless Emergency Project
Hunter Warfield volunteered at the Homeless Emergency Project (HEP), whichprovides homeless and very low-income individuals and families with housing, food, clothing and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. Our volunteers were able to help prepare and serve food to those in need, as well as organize, hang, and price items for HEP’s Thrift Shop.
Metropolitan Ministries Food Drive
Metropolitan Ministries cares for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity, and instill self-sufficiency. Hunter Warfield is proud to collect food to help support their mission for those who are less fortunate.
Operation: Military Matters
We collected donations and filled 100+ boxes to send to soldiers deployed overseas.
ToyMakers of East Lake
ToyMakers of East Lake produces and donates brightly painted, hand-made wooden toys to sick and needy children in stressful environments. Hunter Warfield is pleased to have volunteered our time for such a wonderful organization. This organization has touched so many of us that many employees have gone out on their own to give back even more of their time.
